Is it possible to make it so that everyone survives?

Even the flamthrower guy? Because only three survived for me. Sam, Chris, and Emily. I really hated that Mike and Jessica died. Josh I didn't care for. I didn't like Matt all that much, but I did genuinely feel bad for the guy.

The stranger's death is canon, every playable character can live.

My brother played and everyone lived (but flamethrower) and when I played everyone died but Sam! I thought he was lying to me but apparatly that's the way it goes!

reply

The flamethrower guy dies and Hannah and Beth both die.

All the players except can be saved, though I'm not sure if Josh becoming a Wendigo counts as surviving.

reply

In my case; Mike, Chris, Josh, Jessica and Ashley died. What sucks about it is that had I paid more attention, I could have made Mike, Chris and Ashley survive.

I'm gonna try it a second time, to see if I can do better.

Tried it a second time, and while I still can't save Chris (or Josh, who dies anyways, either by turning into a Wendigo or having his head smashed by his sister), I managed to save everyone else.

Saved everyone, even the wolf on my third play through. Flamethrower guy and the sisters are doomed no matter what though.

The Stranger, Beth, and Hannah all die no matter which choices you make in-game.

It is possible to save Sam, Emily, Chris, Mike, Jessica, Matt, and Ashley, though.

Depending on how you play, Josh will either have his head crushed by his sister or be turned into a Wendigo himself.

Don't be upset. It was a mercy killing.

reply

Some deaths are unavoidable. Flamethrower Guy, Beth and "Hannah" die no matter what you do. Josh doesn't technically die but you lose him, no matter what...

How does Hannah die if all the playable characters die? Does Mike take her down with him?

EDIT: I guess that's reason to go buy the game, all the possible endings. 

"Need" is just a fiction. As is "should", "must", "value" and "importance".

reply

Hannah never really died. Depending on your ending, Hannah either had her spirit released by the house fire or she's still a wendigo presumed alive.

I saved everyone second time round. Just hide. Always hide. Don't run.

reply

Flamethrower guy will always die I assume.
I got through the whole game with only Josh dead (and got an achement that said "All survived") So I think thats the only way to go.
