Anyone else shipped Sam and Josh?

I kind of wanted Sam to meet a better guy further into the game. Like maybe Flamethrower Guy would take his mask off and be some good-looking Canadian dude. Like a Native.

"Need" is just a fiction. As is "should", "must", "value" and "importance".

It was implied there was supposed to be a romance between them anyway; it's hinted at when Josh goes on to Sam about how it means so much to him that she specifically came. At the end (if Sam survives) she talks about him sadly and wishes he'd just talked to her.

That being said, I didn't specifically ship them, I felt something was off about Josh early on (I sensed what his plan was immediately - so obvious'd).

I think all the characters were meant to be paired deliberately just to try and make it easier for the player to trust them (i.e. if you're playing as Ashley and she's more less romantically paired with Chris, you'll trust Chris).
