What is the earliest each character can die?

If I'm not mistaken, Jessica is the first one that can die, at the beginning of chapter 4 if Mike doesn't reach her in time. And Sam and Mike both can't die until the very end with the cabin explosion and/or Sam getting killed by a Wendigo by moving when hiding.

A couple of other questions with regard to the Wendigo:

1) Are they blind, or at least not able to see in the dark? There's at least two times at the end where it tells you not to move the controller where a Wendigo is right in front of Sam yet they will walk away as long as you don't move.

2) Is that Hannah at the very end who gets right up by Sam and can kill her if you move? I thought I saw the tattoo on her which was the way Josh recognizes her in the mines after Sam tells him about the journal.

Yes, Jessica is the first possible death.

1) Yes, they're blind. They have incredible hearing to make up for this.

2) It is Hannah and it's Hannah that is hunting the group for most of the game. She's picking them off one-by-one. The scene with Jessica being pulled out the window actually makes sense when you remember Hannah had a huge crush on Mike.

In order:

1. Jessica - When the Wendigo takes her. Fail the quick time events or don't take enough shortcuts = Jawless Jess falls from the ceiling
2. Matt - Attack deer, fail QTE
3. Emily - Fail QTE in mine/don't raise elevator/etc. Basically just do everything wrong there
4. Chris - Either shoot Ashley earlier or fail to shoot Wendigos
5. Ashley - Run off to investigate Jess's voice. Open trap door
6. Josh - Don't find the two clues in area before saving him
7. Sam - Fail her Don't Move segments after the initial one
8. Mike - Fail Sam's initial don't move segment (or have her flee the building and blow him up) He'll always be the last death

1) Wendigos are NOT blind. They see motion. Therefore, if you don't move, they don't see you.

2) Yes. Hannah is Wendigo who kills EVERYONE in the game. None of the other Wendigos can or will kill you

1) The wendigos are not blind. Like the T-Rex from Jurassic Park, their vision is based on movement.

2) Hannah is the wendigo stalking and killing the group. The only one I'm not sure of is the one who can kills Ashley. I am pretty sure the Stranger trapped that one. I am also not 100% sure about the one that kills Chris. But it's definitely Hannah who can kills Jess, Matt, Emily, Sam, and Josh. I found it amusing that she never tried to kill Mike. She stalked him and had several chances to attack him, but she never did.

I noticed that as well. She could have attacked him in Chapter 3, 4, and 10, but she backed off. I wish they would have touched on that more in the story.

According to the Wiki page, it is Hannah who kills all of them. She isn't really locked in the box when she kills Ashley. Hannah fakes being trapped to lure her.
