Who threw Jessicas phone?
through the window? We know a wendingo pulled Jessica out of the window, but would they be inclined to do something like that? It would seem more like something flamethrower man would do.

shareAre you done with the game yet? I don't want to give away any spoilers if you're still working on it. I will put it under spoiler tags: Wendigo Hannah threw the phone. Even though there are other wendigos, we find out that Hannah is the one stalking and killing the group. The running theory is that Hannah still had smidgen of human brain function left due to only being a wendigo for a year. She was coherent enough to remember the group, but didn't have the humanity left to not attack and kill them.
shareYes I have played it twice. I wonder about the theory, because on some playthroughs Hanna smashes Joshes head.
shareI agree that the theory has holes, but I'm 100% certain Hannah threw the phone because she was stalking them throughout the entire chapter. I was mainly just passing along the general consensus. It's also on the game's official wiki page that Hannah is responsible for all of the wendigo killings.
My guess is that Hannah goes in and out of lucidness. She remembers Mike (as she has several opportunities to attack and kill him, but backs off) and kills people in ways that are indicative of her understanding what they are saying or remembering them. i.e. Jessica gets her jaw ripped out because she mouthed off about sleeping with Mike, and Emily gets her eyes gouged out for "seeing" Hannah's humiliation in the prologue. She is also slightly more humane about killing her best friend, Sam.
The stranger was never a threat to them. Hannah threw the phone to screw with them.
Also, Flamethrower dude says they were once human, so they know how to stalk us. So it likely threw the phone as a distraction, knowing it's something a human treasures.
