Tried....
I tried really hard at saving everyone my first play through, but it resulted in having only two survivors, what about everyone else?

My survivors were Matt (who I thought was a boring character) and Sam
Lol. Yeah, you just did. And Matt/Sam were definitely amongst my least favs., though I thought they were likeable enough (Matt is helped a lot by his pre-order bonus chapter)

shareI think saving Jessica relies on what you did when trying to catch up to her with Mike when she's first taken, I.E. choosing the riskier option in order to get to her quicker. She'll reappear later if you did all that right and then it's fairly straight forward (and you hide rather than run).

shareI had four survive; Sam, Chris, Emily and Jessica. I should have had Mike too but I messed up.
shareOn my first play through, I got 6 survivors. Mike, Sam, Emily, Ashley, Chris and Jessica. On my second I saved all of them.
shareOnly two maybe three if you count Josh and the funny part one of my survivors was a character I liked least. On my second playthrough I saved everyone.

It was Emily she was my most disliked character when the Dr. was asking me who I liked. And then it turns out Emily was one of only two Survivors in my first playthrough. lol
shareMy first playthrough went tits up pretty quickly, With Matt getting killed by getting a hook through the jaw, then I hesitated with Chris resulting in his head getting violently ripped from his neck, then made the mistake with opening the hatch with Ashley, and Jessica tried to run, while Sam saved herself and Mike blew up. I ended the game with Emily and Sam. On my second playthrough, I tried killing everyone but I accidently found the diary and Josh was taken away and survived. I'm gonna give it a few weeks before playing again.

OMG, a hook through the jaw? That sound brutal!! And I also hated Emily too until I played her solo portion then I kinda liked her
