Hannah and Beth's death

Anyone think Jessica, Mike, Emily, Matt and Ashley should have been put on death row for their part in it?

Are you crazy? No. Absolutely not.

Those girls ARE responsible for running into the woods. That doesn't mean what the group did was acceptable, or that they don't have a share of the responsibility, but they hardly can be fully blamed for what happened to the two girls. And it's pretty strongly implied that most/all of them feel guilty

I would definitely put them on death row. It'd send a clear message.

Would you pull a stunt like that knowing you'd get such a severe punishment for it?

Ashley, who had the least involvement might be able to make a plead deal even then she'd still be brutally beaten with a bullwhip, leaving her scars for the rest of her life, still better than the tortures Jessica, Mike, Emily and Matt would inflicted upon them before they are put on the electrical chair.

You have got to be trolling...

You think Ashley should have her hand chopped off?

Or get five years in prison?

reply

Capital punishment is wrong, no matter what. And they weren't responsible for what happened.

reply

Did you murder someone? And of course they were responsible.

reply

Indirect is different from direct. Where I live we don't even execute murderers, let alone pranksters.

So if I paid someone to kill you, I would not be responsible for your death?

Where I live we don't even execute murderers, let alone pranksters.

And that is why the murder rate in your place is so high.

reply

The murder rate where I live isn't high. Look up a country like Norway. They treat wrong doers humanely, and it works.

"So if I paid someone to kill you, I would not be responsible for your death?" That's just a dumb thing to say. The difference is you conspired to murder. People pulling a prank aren't trying to kill people.

Yeah, people often say that about where they live in.

Look up a country like Norway. They treat wrong doers humanely, and it works.

So you're saying that if they had committed such a crime in Norway, they would be charged with murder and executed?

"So if I paid someone to kill you, I would not be responsible for your death?" That's just a dumb thing to say. The difference is you conspired to murder. People pulling a prank aren't trying to kill people.

Nope, it's a smart thing to say. What happened was they PLANNED and ended up KILLING them. Murder.

reply

Ii think you're just being a troll now. First of all it wasn't murder, not even manslaughter. And even when murder happens, how does killing people prove that killing is wrong. Look up info about capital punishment. It doesn't stop crime.

reply

It's not about proving that it's wrong. It's about fear. Also, it would stop crime because the criminals are dead.

Or maybe, you believe they should get a life sentence instead.

reply

Actually, I believe at least here in the states where I live, they'd likely be convicted of manslaughter at MOST. Yes, they were responsible for the prank, but NO, they ABSOLUTELY did NOT kill anyone. The girls falling was because they were running scared. The stranger would be more at fault than the group. Seriously though, if you're not a troll, then you're just a sad person who's WAY too invested in a game.

reply

I just think it's unrealistic that nobody wants to have them sued, arrested or given the death penalty.

reply

Capital punishment doesn't stop crime. Also, what bothers me is that there are repeated situations like this, where people get worked up over minor issues, while ignoring much worse cases of anti social behavior.

reply

Do the executed continue to kill people? No, so it does stop crime.

reply

So if you want killers dead, shouldn't people who do capital punishment be dead too?

reply

There is a difference between executing a scumbag and killing innocent people.

Its not what you do, its who you do it to.

I don't give a f*@K about a troll who doesn't pay for his opinion telling me how to review movies.

reply

No there isn't. And look into capital punishment and find out just how many innocent people are killed.

reply

You'd rather the killer just murdered more people?

reply

No they go to jail.

reply

And then someone complains that's too "harsh", their sentence gets cut in half, they're back on the street and more people suffer.

At the same time, the economy suffers because the government has to spent its budget to keep them alive.

reply

No bodies, no crime.
💀💀
And no, I don't think they should be put on death row. That's like saying any place that manufactures bullets could be put on trial since the bullet will most likely result in injury or death.

reply

Maybe they should be on trial.

reply

But it was just a prank, HAAAAANNNNN!!!!

reply

Hahaha great post! I also had that in my head as I replay the game and almost every chapter shows the Previously On Until Dawn starting off with that. Damn Emily!

reply

Yeah, Emily might have been able to make a plea deal in my paradise but given her motivation, the judge would probably see her as guilty.

I don't give a f*@K about a troll who doesn't pay for his opinion telling me how to review movies.

reply

Of course not. And the death penalty doesn't belong in a modern democratic country. If you take someone's life because they have killed someone, you're just as bad.
