unrealistic

i served jury duty before, people take it very seriously. it was also like 50% housewives and 50% retirees. i was in college at the time but i wanted to experience it so i did it. it's super easy to get out of jury duty. the justice system is highly biased. almost anyone who is actually selected for jury duty actually wants to be there. so it's going to be hard to get an actual impartial jury if it's a controversial subject. anyways, the jury isnt gonna just say some guy is guilty without deliberating or going over the evidence. we had a minor drunk driving case and we deliberated for like an hour or more. people arent gonna convict some guy of murder without discussing it. they want to go home and sleep at night too.
