Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie, but the entire time I kept thinking to myself, "Why does this remind me of The Outer Limits?". The episodes "The Vaccine" and "Dark Rain" came to mind, even though the plot of Bird Box is completely different.
Did anyone else get Outer Limits vibes or am I just crazy? lol!

Just that I don't find it completely different have you seen the episode dark rain lately? Definitely made me think of that episode.
I was so nervous about watching Birdbox because I heard nothing but bad things about it but I wanted to check it out because I haven't seen Sandra Bullock in a movie for a long time. So glad I watched it because it felt like the outer limits fans were getting a movie. So nope you are not alone.
I'm so glad I'm not alone!!!! I haven't seen Dark Rain in years, but I most certainly need to watch it again. I think the Outer Limits is on Hulu. If I remember correctly, sometime in the late 2000's or early 2010's there was talk of an Outer Limits movie, but it never got made. My sister and I were disappointed, but Bird Box did feel like the Outer Limits movie fans never got!

Really, because I thought the movie was not that good. I think critics are giving 5 stars to just about everything these days. There were so many things wrong with the plot of this movie and how Sandra is able to run around blind so easily. These people adapt far too quickly and simple to make it believable.
