Says series 3 starts Friday?
But nothing showing on the TV guide?
shareIt's definately not starting on Friday, not only has there been no trailer or media articles on the new series but the producer herself has said that it won't air before the spring and that late March or April is the possible airdate.
shareTy for this update on the air date of season. Husband and I are looking forward to it!!
shareJessica Pope responded to a query on Twitter - it won't be til April at the earliest :(
shareBlack Sails is almost over. This must start soon!
"I said no camels, that's five camels, can't you count?"
The entire season has been a botched mess they are trying deal with in editing. At least one more month
shareSource? (Re: it being a botched mess...)
shareStarted airing in Turkey this week; I heard late May in UK (and probably the states, where I am). Also heard BBC America not airing it, but Hulu will (that part apparently from Exec Producer Jessica Pope).
shareSeries writer Simon Allen has confirmed late May for the UK, the BBC have finally "locked" the series for this date and according to Allen it's a good run with few or no interuptions.
shareWell, it's the middle of April, no exact date in May yet?!
shareThe BBC rarely confirm anything until a few weeks beforehand but I think we can guess a date somewhere between 15th - 30th May for the UK. If the show is staying in the Friday slot - like with S2 - it's likely to be Friday 20th May or Friday 27th.
With promo needing to start a few weeks before then, we've not got too long to wait now, fingers crossed.
it has been in editing for nearly year since a principal character left when they had delayed shooting her scenes only to never get them shot at all.
shareWho was the character who left?
shareLooks like it probably was Maimie McCoy (Milady) She was pregnant so isn't in some of the earlier episodes...According to imdb, though she should be back for episode 10
