Having a hard time mustering up any sympathy for Louis Spoilers inside

I know it is 100 percent accurate to the time period but I can't bring myself to feel sorry he got cheated on. The childish petulance that made me love the character in previous seasons is grating on me in this instance. I keep wanting to shake him and says what's good for the goose is good for the gander I do understand the anguish involved with knowing the child he raised is not biologically his especially as he nears death. And I do applaud the fact that he was man enough to love the child despite this given the time period. But god the little eye roll when Treville mentioned that no King had ever been charged with adultery grinds my gears! Props to the actor though he's doing a really good job.

It's something you'll get used to a mental mind *beep* can be nice!

Yeah, and in real life he had his people starving.

Can't say im very knowledgeable about his real life historical self or the period of his reign, but man, there wasn't a single episode in this show where he was at least somewhat around, that i didn't tell to myself "Jesus, what a useless, worthless, annoying excuse of a king".

reply

He gets his head chopped off.

reply

No he didn't
