shareThe first two episodes were excellent... really a good start. The villains are top in this new series... great expectations for this.
The problem is that are some leaks that are cut versions of the episodes...
The normal lenght is about 55 minutes and for what I've seen there are 43 min edited versions circulating... which ruins the story!!

shareThank God, I am not the only one who thinks that the series took a complete nose dive in the third season!! What the fΓΌck happend? The difference to the other seasons is so apparant, it is astonishing. I was askin myself the whole time what I was watching.
Do they have new writers? A new show runner? Any other reasons for those changes? I haven't yet watched more than the first three episodes, but please tell me that it gets better! I liked the series so much the first two seasons, that it would be really sad if it already lost its appeal so soon.

The episodes were meant to go out after 9pm but the BBC decided at the last minute to show them earlier
I've noticed a lack of promotion for this series. I didn't even know it was back until I spotted episode two in the listings

I have just finished watching the third season. And wile I thought it got a bit better towards the end, I completely disliked the finale. Way too kitschy, way too perfect ending for everyone. Except of course for Treville or the king. But how practical that the latter died, so that Aramis could finally be with the queen again. ξ Like I said in another thread, I would have prefered a more toned town and a more open ending as a finale.
I am sorry to be so negativ, but after the first great seasons I expected much much more for the third season, especially it being the last one. ξ΅
