Shrapnel?


I love the Musketeers, but the use of the word 'shrapnel' in the final episode really jarred. Surely, someone should be checking words like this (which only appeared in the sense of shell fragments in 1940).

The shrapnel shell was invented by a British military man who it was named after. He lived up to the mid 1800's and the shell was used during WW1 .This led to the wearing of steel helmets due to the number of head wounds.
