Enjoyed the first half.....but (spoiler)

The children wanted to grant the Grandad's wish. Far-fetched mabey but they are young children and it's only a movie!

I enjoyed the films first half more because i just loved the scenes with Billy Connelly and the kids. The film kind of fizzles out after his Viking burial.

Was it a millionaire who said "Imagine no possessions"?

i thought that was the best part. The adults wer acting so irresponsibly, the childrend decided to take matters into their own hands.

While I agree that the second half struggled (it really could've done without the whole press and photographers outside the house), the fact that the kids gave their granddad what they wanted to make the adults understand how they behaved was really crucial to the story.
