It's not often I regret watching a film

but this was one of those times.
It had to be done - watch one of these films just to see what all the fuss was about and because maybe, just maybe, there was something to enjoy - there wasn't. It's dreadful at every level and I will not be watching any sequel or derivative of it - ever.

It was a viral cultural phenomenon at the time it aired. I've never seen anything like it, although Tiger King has come close.

There were people literally calling family and friends telling them to turn on the TV and tune in to watch it - in real time. If it weren't for the "event" feel of it, it's just a crappy movie.
