Complete misfire and wasted opportunity

I'm normally a sucker for these kind of comedies as well as horror comedies, but this was just awful. Takes a great concept you could do so much with and completely wastes on an awful script. It didn't feel like anyone here wanted to be involved with this and just was in it for the paycheck. Everything felt so sloppy and half baked and there wasn't nearly enough horror/gore either. Humor completely fell flat and relied way too heavily on 90's nostalgia. The worst sin a comedy can be is boring and that's exactly what most of this was. Only redeeming quality was Fred Durst actually was pretty good in this. There were maybe a dozen people at my screening and there wasn't even a single chuckle.
