Underrated

Good acting, nice nod to Leone/Corbucci, good cinematography, nice score, not higlhly original but very entertaining and not to long.

Should be in the 7.5 to 7.8 range. Gave it an 8.

I agree with you, but I wouldn't do more than 7.5, it was good, but there were a couple scenes that would prevent me from calling it really good or great. So I say it's a solid new western with an old bag of tricks, but good tricks.

Well, the originality was that instead of the Railroads stealing everything, this was the future oil speculators who were killing people to steal their oil rich lands. The audience is shown this with the oil slicks around town and, of course in the end, with the old fashion derricks. So besides all else: good acting, writing, direction, cinematography and musical score, it also made a profound political statement. In all, I gave it an "8" but would have liked to give it an "8.5."
