What does "Omnia Vincit Riot" mean?
When the Riot Club trash their new member's rooms, they paint the words (Which I know are Latin) "Omnia Vincit Riot" on the walls. Does anyone know what this means? Google trasnlate isn't fantastic. Thanks

shareNot entirely sure but I think it roughly translates to "Riot [Club] conquers/wins everything/everyone"
shareIt is a misquotation of "Amor vincit omnia" (Virgil) meaning "love conquers all". "Riot conquers all ought to be translated as "Riot vincit omnia".
shareCalbailes: add that too the goofs page. Good catch.
shareThanks for the info about the Virgil.
Just a note on the word order. Word order in Latin is flexible. 'Riot vincit omnia''Omnia vincit Riot''Omnia Riot vincit''Riot omnia vincit' 'Vincit omnia Riot' and 'Vincit Riot omnia' are all correct Latin with only differences of emphasis.
