Not one original idea or moment did I see in this trailer. As a filmmaker, I'm disappointed. As a Christian, even more so.

I liked very much how they were "taken". In the rest of the "rapture" movies, they disappear. I liked that they sort of died. But yeah, the movie pretty much sucked.

It's possible yeah but at the same time i'm not sure there will be what happened in the movie coming. Interesting movie nonetheless!

Ripped off? Wow, are you telling me that you can't take an iconic story from the Bible and make a movie out of it? It's been done many times, with many different Bible stories. If you're going to criticize make it valid!

Right, movielover2011. Wonder where these guys think Biblical stories come from? Or do they even know the rapture is Biblical? And do we have the time to list all the movies based on Biblical events?

How can something be "Biblical" if no one believed in it until 300 years ago? It is a theological invention of the American branch of the Puritans.

Somehow it has gained traction in America over the past century or so, but it does beg the question: Why did no one interpret scripture in this manner until recently?

As an atheist, I was delighted, as this was yet another fine illustration of the absolutely nonsensical nature of any rapture/end-times kind of talk. That educated folk with functioning brains (though with an un-questioning ethic) can actually live in wait for such a laughable scenario, is the only difficult aspect to comprehend.
