Ending Rips-Off Lovecraft
SPOILERS -
Maybe it's just me, but the ending brings Lovecraft's Elder Gods to mind. Not sure if that was intended, or if it just turned out that way.

I think it's supposed to be a cinematic interpretation of the Book of Revelation. Lovecraft frequently did deal with the idea of civilization struggling against dark, primitive barbarism.š
shareI thought they handled it very well. I liked it more than I thought I would.
It had that 'Lovecraft vibe' that pulled me in; especially at the end. Acting was quite good as well. I cared about the fate of the characters.
Good job considering the low budget, but proves you don't need millions to produce a great movie.
Yeah I thought it was a rather good movie.
One of those movies you went in not expecting much , came out surprised and elated!
I would have paid to see this at the cinema - that says it all for me!
As you say low budget but a suprisingly good, well acted and just the right amount of special effects!
Can't understand all the negative comments about the religious side - its a frigging movie based on the rapture so sit back, open the popcorn and enjoy it and stop getting all holier than thou!
Its uncle Frank Kirsty!
Its time to play!
