Brad Titt is too old to be a Sgt.

What a fcking vain tosser. Signs up and demands to be the TC. You know, back then the US conscript army wasn't what it is now. The thickest Jeffroes would get promoted to Lt. if they survived as long as Titt did.

Crew was annoying as *beep*. Fratricide would've been an option, not because they were Allies but being stuck in a tank with Bernthal and Pitt... good grief!

try harder.

Why can't you wretched prey creatures understand that the Universe doesn't owe you anything!?

reply

Pitt would be too old to be a TC in WWII. His character is not and Pitt seems to be believable in the role of a man in his thirties. YMMV

As for the "thickest Jeffroes" being commissioned due solely to longevity - this is not correct. While a few enlisted soldiers did manage to get commissioned due to leadership abilities shown on the battlefield, the great majority of them did not and many remained private soldiers right through the war.

There is such thing as a career NCO by the way. I didn't thing he looked to old for the part at all, Plus stress causes people to look a lot older then they are.

There are many career NCO's. My Grandfather was a Sgt from WWII all the way to his retirement in 1960. Maybe it doesn't work that way in the military where ever you're from.

BTW, what's a "Jeffroe"?

Also, you really went a long way just to get in a lame boob joke.

You write like an illiterate, and expect people to take you seriously?

reply

Umm... once again WRONG! There were many 50 yr old non coms in WWII, most of them were WWI vets who had trouble and therefore never advanced, or were demoted. We don't know Pitt's history. He only says Africa,France,Belgium,Germany. Yet he has a WWI sidearm.

reply

The 1917 was issued because of a shortage of the 1911.

reply

It would be highly unusual to see an NCO in his fifties in a fighting platoon. One might find one in the rear areas doing an administrative or technical job or back in the continental US as an insrtuctor.

Learn a little bit about the military and ranks before you post.

Most of the people who retire from the military after decades of service are sergeants. You don't get to be an officer based on your age.

uh, Lt...
