I had forgotten all about Swatch Watches until I started watching The Goldbergs (and early seasons episodes of Full House).

Does anyone know if Erica's Swatch is vintage or a newer one? The classic design hasn't changed much so if it's a newer one they could probably get away with it. I actually bought one recently. I'd love to have one like Erica's though.

I found the answer to my own question, but in case anyone else is interested:

The model of Erica's Swatch Watch is called the Maxi Peppercane. It's from one of their more recent lines and is available to purchase. It kind of surprised me that they didn't just go on Ebay and get a vintage one from the era.

I'm surprised it didn't come with the Swatch protector, so the surface of the watch wouldn't and couldn't be scratched, no matter what! heh.

Unfortunately I don't think they make the gaurds anymore. I wanted one to go on mine. Nothing on the Swatch site or anywhere else. Just people selling vintage ones.

I bought Erica's Swatch off Ebay last week for $22 like new.

I remember a Swatch controversy from the '80s. One of the models who appeared in a couple Swatch commercials was also an adult film actress. Her name is Stacey Donovan. I swear it is not an urban legend. You can google it. I would post a link, but I couldn't find one that was definitive.

I still have my original Swatches with the guards! LOL I also have my original crimper! Wonder if they worth anything? LOL

I'd give anything to have my original Swatches from when I was about 11. I looked for them a while back, but I may have thrown them away.
