This is a tough choice but you can only pick one

Your favorite 80's comedies? This was my favorite decade for comedy but my vote would be
Planes, Trains and Automobiles. The chemistry between Candy in his best performance and Martin was amazing

reply

Trading Places was MUCH funnier.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is great! I watch it every year at Thanksgiving! It's a toss up between PT&A and Christmas Vacation (I watch that one every year on the day after Thanksgiving)

reply

This Is Spinal Tap!!

reply

Nobody said Vacation yet! Damn - P, T & R and Airplane! We're both hilarious, and I'd like to bring an original vote to the table (besides the fact I know I'm forgetting some funny films), but i gotta be honest, Spinal Tap cracks me up every time!

I guess 48 Hours was Not a true comedy?

reply

You know. I was thinking of saying 48 Hours. I would say it's an action comedy. Still the best Eddie Murphy movie IMO.

reply

The Naked Gun. Love that movie.

Is this Idaho? Because I will not limbo in Idaho.

reply

Top Secret! is my favorite.

1980 had an A-B-C trifecta:

A: Airplane!
B: The Blues Brothers
C: Caddyshcak

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles was great! One of my favorites.
