Perfect casting!
You know, there are some castings that just make you go, WOW!. Wagner Moura as Pablo Escobar is so well cast. He's absolutely brilliant in the show.
He makes the show for me. Without him, the show wasn't nearly as entertaining. I like Pedro Pascal. He's great as Agent Pena. But no one holds a candle to Moira's performance as Escobar.
He actually manages to make you feel a bit sympathetic for a murderous sob like Escobar. And then reminds you how ruthless Escobar was.
