great story arc.

The scenes with Pablo's father was probably among the best scene in the last two episodes, when his father said "you chose your life, be in charge of it", that sense of sadness in that scene was kind of sums up a lot about Escobar whom could have just been a simple farmer and lived a normal life and I think the anger was at himself to feel that this is the life he lost while he was hiding in that farm. There has been very little written about Escobar's father.

Agreed. There was a quiet dignity about him that was in such contrast to Pablo. What a great actor.

I think the best part is when his father says "so what?" when Pablo brags about his achievements.

I came here to see if there was a thread on his father. I have not once felt any sadness with Pablo and his family, because his mom and wife have been a part of it and not really cared what he has done. But in episode 9 of season 2, the scene where Pablo asked his dad to tell him the truth on what he thinks about him, it was the first time I felt any emotion in this show. I felt for his dad. And In that moment, because of the terrific performance from Wagner, you almost sensed he had some regret.
