I read up about this guy, even though hes still alive and has influence

I think they should focus on another kingpin, Mexican Drug Lord El Chapo in Season 4 and possibly 5. I mean Colombia has been done to death with possibly a 3rd season, Pablo is dead and chasing the cali cartel in season 3 can only go so far. El Chapo has a story worth diving into. As long as Sean Penn is no where near it I think the production staff will be safe from intimidation lol.....and his biggest fan Kate Del Castillo probably desperate to appear in any show about him.

But this time consequences of drugs should be more prominent, I felt the first 2 seasons lacked the details sometimes.

What do you guys think?

Coke is the dope for the wealthy so there isnt much in terms of consequences to delve into unless you want to watch some filthy rich housewife bitch to her shrink for hours.

When speaking of Emperors, you always start with Caesar.

El Chapo's time will come, but first pinche Oberon has to deal with Cali.

I'd expect the Mexican story lines to pick up in season 4 just as the late 90's approaches and the Cali cartel starts to fall apart.

good point, guess its better to stick with the timelines, theres no rush and the audience is pretty large. Looking forward to season 3. Hats of to Wagner Moura he did a good job despite the critics
