Great Job, Narcos (possible spoilers)

I loved the way they have such depth to Escobar, showing that he wasn't just a soulless monster, he was also a man who loved his city & his family, so much so that according to the depiction lead to him being found. Another thing that I really liked about the show, is that it was hard to tell who the bad guys were....everyone had to do things against their moral code, except for maybe, Escobar, I feel that he remained true to his own moral compass, no matter how skewed it may have been...so again, who were the real bad guys....maybe in this show, there were no real good guys, it's hard to tell

So I guess according to you Osama Bin Laden wasn't a "soulless monster" either because he probably loved his family and his city too.

It's amazing how some people are easily fooled by a mostly fictional series about a narcoterrorist responsible for killing about four thousand people! Smh

The reason why they show him as a person is because it makes for a more compelling character. Without showing him as being occasionally kind or well-intentioned, he would be one dimensional.

Well, I said, in the show, I don't know how he was in real life. I I realize it is fiction, I was just saying that I liked the storytelling. i was not saying that I was a terrorist supporter

Your naivety is quaint but so bold and outspoken.
Perhaps, if you were to quiet down a bit, you'd hear the others laughing at you.
It's probably in the best interest of your ego to remain a loudmouthed fool.

My hat's off to you.

In Colombia some people consider him a saint.

99% of Colombians detest Escobar. I'm sure some of the slum dwellers who live in homes that Escobar built for them probably admire him, but they are a tiny minority.

Just like I'm sure there are some people in Germany who still admire Hitler and there are some Americans who still admire Al Capone.
