Why didn't Pablo just quit?
Assuming he and his family would be comfortable for the rest of their lives, why didn't he just flee to another country and get another identity for himself and his fam?

shareI think there was a moment in Season 1 where he suggested moving to Switzerland and starting fresh. It was his wife Tata who told him that they would be nobodies in Switzerland, and Colombia is the place where they belong. Poor and selfish decision on Tata's part.

Nevertheless, they still could have gotten out when the *beep* really hit the fan... So my question is still valid.
shareNot so much greed but Power. Power drives everything for these guys. If he fled he wouldn't have power anymore.

shareThis is based on true events. Unfortunately, Pablo was killed instead of captured so we will never know what was driving him to continue.
