She definitely elevated Tammy from an OK comedy to something pretty good (at least in my unpopular opinion).

Kathy's acting was natural and easy in TAMMY but her character was kind of an "out" for the characters; a too easy exit when things were getting... well, not funny, but... something...

This movie was really bad though.
