Spy was probably better but I still had a really good time with this

Agreed. Lots of fun, not great but plenty of laughs.

And most importantly it was refreshing to watch a comedy that is not the boring cliched drug and sex fueled low IQ sh!t.

I agree that the drug and sex "humor" is useless and tired, and has never been funny. But Melissa McCarthy plays the same unlikable character in EVERY film, and SHE'S tired and cliched.
