We were just about to have a great year of comedies

AND THEN THIS PIECE OF SH*T CAME OUT!!!!

AND THEN THIS PIECE OF SH*T CAME OUT!!!!
I can't speak for Deadpool or Zootopia since I have not seen either one but I do have hope with Absolutely Fabulous and The Nice Guys, possibly The Secret Lives of Pets, hopefully Masterminds (followed the story which its based from.) and Keanu (I'm not familiar with the material of Key & Peele.)
Everything else looks like sh*^. Neighbors 2, Sausage Party, Barbershop 3, Ghostbusters 2016 automatically comes to mind.
This movie honestly isn't as bad. The trailer makes this movie look like pure dreck and while it's still not a great film, there are quite a few laughs to be had here.
Also, am I in the minority here or am I the only one that didn't think "Deadpool" was earth-shatteringly great? It's still a solid film nonetheless, and most of the jokes were great, but it didn't go far enough for me. "Zootopia" I will admit was fantastic. Extremely funny and smart.
I also wouldn't discount "Ghostbusters" entirely. Paul Feig is directing it and all his McCarthy films have been great (and I mean that critic-wise). "Neighbors 2" might be decent considering the first was pretty funny (albeit not great). "Sausage Party" seems like it could go either way but that orgy scene sounds pretty hilarious. The "Barbershop" movies don't seem very funny so I'll give you that.
I'll discount "Ghostbusters" because Feig is as talentless and hack director as they come and I find his movies to be painfully unfunny especially Spy. I only lasted 90 minutes before I walked out of the theater. I'd thought to give that one a shot after all the acclaim it received.
Neighbors 2 and Sausage Party appears to be the same hollow, lowest common denominator, vulgar, raunchy comedy that solely relies on vulgar humor and foul language and nothing else.
The first Barbershop movie was actually funny and was a solid comedy. Part 2 was just a less funny rehash and 3 just looks like pure garbage and with Malcolm D. Lee directing and Nicki Minaj appearing, that shouldn't be a surprise.
