Melissa is a co star! she's not meant to carry the movie. I thought she was great in bridesmaids and than it became her schtick, because I think she's funny in mike and molly as the normal one. I enjoyed the movie but not the best, and I think it's because she's not meant to carry a movie by itself, shes more of the comic relief.
