20 years, really???

So in a recent Interview Melissa stated that she has had the idea for this character and has been obsessed with bringing this character to life for the past 20 years and all she has to show for it is a crappy film that has a 5.3 rating. Yeh that's exactly the kind of comedy genius I want starring in the new Ghostbusters. All this woman is good for is killing your ears with her irritating voice and falling down!!!

It's brought in over $60 million, not too shabby dumbass.

Pirates of the Caribbean 3 took over $300 million at the US box office, nearly $1 billion worldwide. TMNT took $190 million at the US box office alone. So what exactly is the point you are making peckerwood?

That for a movie of it's stature it did fairly well. Summertime comedy.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop made $146 million US domestic, the sequel about $70 million. There's clearly a market in America for these terrible, unfunny, cheaply made 'comedies' featuring talent-less, one-note, sitcom level comedians doing their thing.

Because they're so cheaply made (and boy does it usually show) they don't have to make a massive amount of money to be profitable, which is just as well since most of them have no life outside of US shores.

When you see the mass amounts of money that some of these sh*tehouse comedies have made, $60 milion could be seen as slightly under-performing.
