Melissa's an extremely talented woman, with so much potential but she's goes from one bad movie to the next. Maybe the money's too good to turn down, but if she's smart she'll start thinking about the long term and turn down a few scripts.

Yeah, the main problem with your argument is that the script for this atrocity was co-written by McCarthy. Just as Tammy was also co-written by this 'extremely talented woman'. Those 2 films sum up her level of humour to a tee.

Maybe(Definitely) she's not quite as talented as you think?
