Discussion of Season 1 Only - Spoilers for Season 1 Herein

I've watched 9 of the 10 episodes of the first season, and I'm hooked. I have been told by a close friend with similar taste that the show is slow to start, but if you stick with it, it gets better and better, and has a very satisfying resolution.

That said, I'd like to discuss ONLY season 1, without any spoilers or hints or anything about what's to come.

At this point, I get what my friend meant. While the mystery is gripping, there is so much unexplained, and so much hinted at that it's impossible to feel satisfied. However, it really feels like everything so far has been necessary, and that without taking the time to lay the groundwork, whatever explanations they begin to offer would feel forced and faked.

I don't know what to make of Kevin's blackouts. They are likely tied into whatever voices his dad is hearing, and whatever it is that drove him apparently mad.

I wonder if his daughter has moved in with the GR for honest reasons, or just to be near her mom.

What's the deal with the deer?

I don't understand yet why Patti killed herself. Any ideas? Obviously this is only for others who haven't watched the entire series.

Nora looks like an attractive version of Pam from The Office, does she not?

And while we're on the topic of looks, Justin Theroux looks exactly like a young Walter Matthau. I hope when he's a bit older he starts remaking all the classic Matthau films. He just needs to find his Jack Lemmon.
