So Larry doesn't explain the tablet's magic to Tilly before he leaves?

...he just says that after tonight, it will be the best job ever or something. I found myself seriously annoyed with that oversight, especially when the first film made such a big deal about how much of a shock it was for Larry on his first night as museum guard.

The whole ending seemed rushed, and left so many dangling threads. Otherwise, I would have put this as my second favorite of the trilogy.

I think that's part of the fun of it, isn't it? Didn't Akmenrah explain in the first movie?
