Was the trailer an accurate representation of the movie?

I really liked the style of the trailer. But it's getting such bad reviews. Is the trailer an accurate representation of the entire movie? Or are all the best scenes literally in the trailer?

Avoid at all costs.

I thought it was nowhere near as bad as the internet is making it sound; if you liked the style of trailers, the movie basically has the same feel. It's really dumb, but I can't say I didn't enjoy it. The only truly awful thing is that you don't care about the characters at all. Oddly enough, it all felt more like a video game than a movie...maybe that's a good thing in the grand scheme of things? If you're just looking for a movie to see now, still go for something like Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation over this.

That's what we did. Walked out of this crap and saw MIRN again.

The story is very contrived and lacks real development. The actions is about what you'd expect but overuses CGI so some of the sequences look very unnatural as the physics are not quite right. Definitely not the worst mobie this month. Video game based movies are generally bad probably at a ratio of about 80% bad to 20% good. This is actually on the high middle of video game based films.
