Box Office- Agent 47 vs Transporter Refueled

These are 2 of my favorite franchises, Jason Statham has already played in one and he would fit perfectly in the other.....

I have a feeling both movies would have bad reviews, but Agent 47 would have better box office takings relative to Transporter Refueled because of the former's likely lower budget.

Which do you think would sell better????

Well, the studios clearly have a lot more faith in TR, just by the release date of Labor Day weekend.

Both are *beep* "reboots" of films that already have actors who could still play the role but instead decided to be cheap and try to reboot way to soon. Not one person I know who likes "The Transporter" or likes "Hitman" wanted new films with a new actor and more dumbed down BS stories that left out key characters.

I pray along with them that both this and TR bomb big time at the box office.

When you say the Hitman franchise is among your favorites, do you just mean the film franchise?

It is mainly the Game franchise.... i started with Hitman Codename 47 in 2000... at that time, i had never seen such good graphics and the story just well, resonated with me. Loved the follow-up as well. Didn't really like Contracts because i felt it was a lazy rehash of the first installment. The first Hitman film wasn't good, had some silly illogical scenes

Transporter Refueled will do better. It won't be a big hit and it doesn't even look good, but there is really nothing major coming out this week or next week, and by Labor Day weekend Straight Outta Compton will be fading fast, so it will have the box office all to itself.
