Film shut off near (what I think was) the end, Did I miss much? (Spolier

Right at the part where the elevator opened at there was a clone/lookalike of Agent 47, the film shut off completely and the cinema went pitch black. I'm guessing it was going to go right to end credits, but did I miss any of the actual film?

reply

no, you didn't miss much. The clone look-alike was Agent 48 and then 47 & 90 (Katy or whatever) shoot at him and then it goes to 5 seconds of credits and then it goes to a little scene where fried John Smith is laying on the floor and he opens his eyes. That's it.

Pretty much this. For some reason John Smith is freaking immortal or something. I have no idea how because after being electrocuted to the hilarious effect of having all his hair and eyebrows turn white, he opens his eyes again. I didn't get this at all. It's like they're trying to set up a bad sequel but there's no chance this will get one.

Thank you both, I am glad I didn't miss much; I hate leaving a film thinking that I have missed something.

Hope you got your money back.

That's a bummer, but remember. There is no film any more. It's all digitally projected movies. Unless it's a special engagement like the upcoming movie "The Hateful Eight" by Tarantino. It will be in the 70MM film format.

Oh yes I am well aware; when I said "the film shut off", I meant it like "the flick/movie shut off"; and that every Movie I have seen since 2011/2012 has been DCP. The last 35mm Movie I saw was "The Watch", not a very good sendoff...
