Consider putting Hitman on cable television

They consider putting Hitman on Cable television to stay true to the video games, more violence, more blood and more profanity. Either HBO, Cinemax, Showtime or Starz could air Hitman the series.

You're right. I'd rather see the Hitman series adapted into a television series. It should be dark and gritty, with a heavy usage of stealth, and less on the explosive action side. I could see such a show being a bit like how Dexter was.

Let's hope that this rendition failed at the box-office so we want a Hitman TV series that will disregard both movie adaptations from 2007 and 2015.

If it fails at the box office; it won't go to TV.

Fantastic idea.

Flesh out a story, give reasons for things.

sounds cool, but he would just be assassinating a new target every week. I mean they have to add more than that, right? but what else can they add?

Having a contract here and there would be great, but I don't think it would be like that at all. Look at Dexter in some of it's seasons. He has random kills here and there but there is an overarching storyline with a big bad guy every season. Hitman could be the same way. They could have a bigger storyline playing itself out in the background while they send him on contracts. The show could be very good if handled right.

Also Hitman isn't taking out random criminals, but very important criminals with alot of security. Killing missions would need to take place over multiple episodes say three. Casing the joint, infiltrating, then improvising once found out.

A series is the way to go. Hope they hire Luke Goss (Hellboy 2, Blade 2)

They could do like four season.

Season 1 would have Meyer send 47 to kill his other genetic fathers before double-crossing him.

Season 2 would have the bad guy from Silent Assassin.

Season 3 would have the Franchise trying to destroy the Agency.

Season 4 would have the Agency run by Travis who wants to receive a new clone Victoria who Dexter Industries wants to sell to the highest bidder.

Makes more sense than a film, considering how bad both have been.

The hits are episodic in nature. This gives the creators more time to establish the background of the men Agent 47 is taking down, and the amount of time needed for preparation. Half the fun of performing the hits is knowing how corrupt/psychotic the men you're taking down are. For instance, climbing the roof of the opera house with Sniper Rifle in hand, and waiting for the precise moment to take down that pedophile actor in Curtains Down.
