Would it make more sense to make Agent 47 a villain?

Not all that familiar with the game but have seen both movies and didn't think much of either one of them. If they were to do a third film, would it work better as more of a thriller where he would play the antagonist, sorta like the way this film starts where it kinda has that Terminator feel to it.

And if you're interested-

I started a Youtube channel at the beginning of this summer (well, end of May). Really want to foster it and get it to another level and could always use some support, or criticism in case you want to be constructive. Appreciate any help you could give. Thanks

A review of this movie right here- https://youtu.be/TSOELB3Dbpo

It would make more sense for him to be presumed to be the antagonist, at least at first, since he is after all a hired killer who lets nothing stand in the way of his target. In the games he's not given much of an inner life, which makes him something of a cipher as a person.

The first film tried to make him too human, or at least hinted at his struggle with trying to fit in with humanity (ordering a drink at a bar, struggling with how to talk to women, etc.) The 47 of the games shows no emotion whatsoever, but he's still capable of caring about people and doing the right thing when he has to.

He'd probably work better as a secondary character, a la "Terminator 2"--someone who's very robotic and sinister but has a purity of spirit because he will not allow himself to fail at his mission, whatever it is. He targets criminals and genuinely bad people, so in that sense he is a good guy, but he's still a killer and he has no problem with a causing collateral damage.

"Beethoven had his critics too, Keith. See if you can name three of 'em."
