Discount the lore, its not a bad action movie.

The incredibly bad use of existing lore and canon from the games is just laughable.

But as a stand-alone film, its not 'that' bad. Rupert was a good fit for 47, though i wish he'd shave his head rather than just buzz cut it. Like whats the point?
If there is some function to his barcode tattoo that require him to be (almost bald) - establish it. If not, why doesnt he grow out his hair?

Fight scenes. Very poorly cut. Obvious that it was the actors doing the coreography and they were terrible at it, so it had to be "fixed" in editing. Thats what you get for wanting it to be Hong-Kong-Fuey. Its not the case for henchmen, but whenever 47 and John Smith meet up. Just awful.

And why John Smith. It'd be better if they named him after the Albino. Aside from other agents, he's the only peer in the games. John Smith was an inept CIA agent.
Seems almost like a blatant attempt to troll fans of the game

It reminded me of terminator movie. The games had a Dark story where not much dialogue is used and the setting in gloomy environment with a seedy outlook.none of these hitman movies have that effect.
