Ave Maria

so pissed they never added that beautiful song in the movie. That definitely represents "Hitman" I enjoyed the movie but this was definitely not like the "Hitman" games and I played all of them and waiting for the new one coming the end of the year. I actually preferred the the first Hitman movie.

Ave Maria never doesn't actually represent any of the games except the newest one which was redesigned to lightly represent the 2007 movie.

The original composer, jesper kyd, has made way better tracks that fit the tone of 47 much more accurately.

Wrong. Ave Maria was featured in Hitman: Blood Money. This is arguably the best game in the series in terms of storyline, gameplay, art direction, etc. As far as I'm aware the song wasn't featured in Absolution, which was a far cry from the style of game fans were used to.

In fact a big selling point of the newest game coming out early next year is that it will be more like Blood Money.

I'm 90% sure Ave Maria was also in Hitman 2 back in the early 2000's too. It is indeed almost like the theme song of the series. The song was also featured in the first hitman movie because it is such a prominent song in the series.

I don't remember the first Hitman film very well to be honest but from what I do remember and from hearing that Ave Maria is featured, it sounds like it's a much better adaptation of the game series than this one.

Yeah I enjoyed the first film. I thought it was a pretty good adaptation,

In what world was it a good adaptation??? Have you even played the games?

The whole point of the games was to remain unseen, to only kill when necessary and generally just to avoid trouble and gun fights. Both movies are just OTT action *beep* As far away from the games as possible. I mean, there's a bit in the first movie he has a sword fight with 3 other agents on a train ffs!

True. What I meant to say is that the first one was a little better than this one in terms of music and acting. Both are over the top and too much action, but I guess the producers thought a quiet movie of sneaking around and changing clothes wouldn't be exciting enough.

Also, one could argue that in the game you dont necessarily have to be stealth assassin. You can just go in guns blazing too.

As ridiculous as that was, it was still an empty train. In this new one the guy literally stands in the middle of a busy intersection in broad daylight and starts gunning dudes down. You gotta admit, there's some differences here which make the first film clearly better than the second.
