I like both about as much.

2016 Edit: The 2007 one is WAY better, just rewatched both back-to-back, the music is better, actors too, way more violent, higher bodycount, better film in general.
I was able to make it through 2007, 2015 I walked out mid way through because I couldn't waste another hour of my life.
share2015, was more faithful and the Russian president plot line in 2007 was harder to follow.
shareBit of a toss up... Storyline was better in the 2015 one, actors were better in the 2007 one... fight sequences were probably a bit better in 2015... annoying ad placement was much worse in 2015 making me want to key every Audi I saw leaving the theater.
All in all hard to say both had problems and both had some pluses...
2007, still didnt like though .

Why?
Simple. It remained faithful to the "Silent Assassin" and the "Ghost/Myth" that was 47. In the 2015 movie, he's nothing but a mass murderer.

How so? Yes the body count was high but it was pretty much the henchmen... and who hasn't played the game where you don't go for the bodies instead of being a ghost... Most gamers have played it both ways.

I enjoyed both for different reasons.
The first one was a pretty grim movie about a silent killer, this one was a bright science fiction heavy action flick.
Both had their moments, neither was "good" by any means but both were incredibly enjoyable. So...I love both
I actually like the 2015 version better.
shareHitman (2007) is an absolute MASTERPIECE compared to this piece of silly garbage.
