Shyamalan's Worst

I did, and while it isn't a good movie it's still good for some laughs and the utter ridiculousness of it.

There's nothing redeeming about The Trap. It's contrived plot is ridiculously stupid from start to finish, has absolutely nothing about it that is memorable like even The Happening can claim, and is boring because you know the running time and know he's not going to get caught by security in the first hour. That is, before it gets a limo ride transition to being even more of a shitshow and then it taunts you over and over at the end thinking he's going to get caught and the shitty movie will be over. But no, he escapes in one moronic, David Copperfield-luck of the Irish bullshit, not plausible way one time after another and it just keeps dragging on until the "twist" where the wife who was in the movie for five minutes left a piece of paper somewhere. No fucks given, just please be over you shitty ass movie was the only thing on my mind with the reveal.

I think I'd rather watch a marathon of Night Swim before seeing The Trap again. No contest it's the worst film of the year for me and the worst thing M has put out.
