Plot twist

The asian guy in the basement is the killer the dad somehow find out his identity and that he was planning to kill his daughter in the concert, (that explain why the police knew he was going to be in the concert) maybe the original plan was to let her go alone or with some friends, maybe the dad cant turn in the killer without exposing himself for something he did, maybe he find out the killers identity and plans by doing something illegal

Is either that or something more stupid.

At this point I think people just watch Shyamlan movies to speculate about the plot twist instead of the movie itself

I dont know if that is something good or bad having your entire career based on a gimmick
