S3 E4 Karaoke One.... Not very good episode...Actually Alot Better On Second Viewing (?)

Ahhh, the 'joys' of the anthology series.

I will watch again, but definitely did not interest me much on first viewing.

Actually a lot better on second viewing. I think the irritating music and 'looking for the clues' to what was going to happen really took away from this episode on first viewing.

On Second Viewing, where I knew the basics of what was happening, that I was not looking for a murderer, etc, it was much more enjoyable. Quite a morality play, the bad guys got their comeuppance, and the ending with the deaf lady was actually really sweet.

It sucked and Shearsmith's doing his typical "FUCK YOU IF YOU DIND'T LIKE IT" thing on Tiwtter. Sad!

I didn't enjoy that one much, either. Going from incestual crossword murders, to "who's getting sacked" was a bit of a disappointment.

I've been slowing working my way through these and just looked up this board to see if there were any comments on this one.

First absolutely terrible, meritless episode. Every other one has had something, even the ones which aren't the best e.g. the restaurant & the witches ones, but this has nothing to say other than the very obvious that deaf people have value and not all black people are drugs dealers.

V poor. Hope it's a one off failing...

Ok, Thinking Out Loud just surpassed this as the worst episode...

Still two clangers over 5 seasons isn't too bad a record stacked up against a lot of real quality...
