I have to admit that Patrick has some flaws but after all he tries to redeem himself but then Lou just straight up cheating on him. The fact that she reject going with Patrick on his holiday is acceptable bcuz Will need serious help from Lou. But then while going on holiday with Will she kisses him, like wtf m8. When I was watching this scene in theater people around me keep saying "AWWWWW THAT IS SO CUTE". I don't understand. :(

I assumed that Patrick and Lou had already officially ended things prior to the trip with Will.

Me as well. It was clear her and Pattick did not belong together and they were really probably still together only out of convenience.

Yes, Lou and Patrick broke up before the trip. There's a lot more about it all in the book.

Yeah, poor Neville Longbottom got ditched. He seemed like a perfectly good guy but i'm pretty sure people watching this are just going to want Louisa and Will to be together and the two performers are good enough to where we want that to happen.

Pretty much.

Woman cheats on good looking man, women's reaction: "How could she?!!?!! NASTY PIECE OF WORK! Don't worry baby, you can come to me instead."

Woman cheats with good looking man, women's reaction: "GO GIRL!! The other guy was a loser!"

What they are doing, of course, is demonstrating their own desire to cheat with a good looking man.

Lou did not cheat on Patrick. It is quite clear that the relationship between Lou and Patrick was over and done with before Lou even kissed Will.

What nonsense. The longing staring into each others eyes from distant and close proximity, sharing romantic films, romantic walks, caressing while you shave them - that's not cheating?
