Not offensive in any way.....get a life, folks

Ridiculous how people make such a fuss of this pretty harmless film. People always seem to find silly things to complain about in film. Everything just has to be politicized for them.

This FICTION is about the perspective of one person. He decided he couldn't deal remembering the person he used to be. Does that suggest EVERY physically-challenged person feels this way? Uhhhh, no.

Why can't we just realize that it's just one film, about one story, and that it's not supposed to "speak" for all physically-challenged people?

Pathetic.

I totally understood his reasons. Not being capable was only one part of it - another part was the excruciating pain every day. I can't imagine wanting to live with that, either.

Well said. It's not like his notion was insane. It was a very personal decision. The film never implied that these are the thoughts of every single paraplegic or quadriplegic person.

Guess some people really need a cause or something.
