Good Movie

I am considering watching it second time

Atmospheric and well done. 7/10

I dug it. But I doubt I'll watch it again. But definitely enjoyed it.

It was pretty good, interesting at least. Not bad for a first time director.

The script was riddled with issues but I liked the direction, cinematography, and visual style. Lots of genuinely suspenseful and surprising moments and I thought the monsters were interesting. So maybe 5/10 or 6/10. Certainly far from perfect but alot of the hate is pretty overblown.

The premise had a lot of potential and it was well made when it comes to cinematography, editing and so on.

I agree with people who thought there were just too many problems with the story. Too many things didn't make any sense.

Things like no one noticing all those disappearing construction workers that the professor sacrificed while building his little fortress in the woods. One person disappears in a small town or village and people notice. Building an underground structure like that isn't something that could be done by a small team in a couple of days. And how'd they get the kind of construction equipment and supplies you'd need out there.

You could write a list several pages long of the problems. At a certain point, you can't ignore them anymore. 5/10 for me.
