Trailer looks good more importantly, perfect timing...

That it is released the year after the Academy Awards' "lack of diversity" flap will probably get it many Oscar noms and even awards, just to quiet the critics.

As one who saw Denzel Washington and Viola Davis perform Fences on Broadway, the awards and nominations will be earned just like the Tony's they received, and Denzel's 2 Oscar and Davis' nominations for Doubt and The Help. It has to do with talent rather than diversity.

The sad thing is that Denzel and Viola could give two of the best performances of a generation (not saying they do, haven't seen the film) and there will still be people saying they only got award recognition to fill a diversity quota.

Both Denzel Washington and Viola Davis are excellent. She will win an Oscar; it's the performance of a lifetime.
